Pam and Trevor!! Well what to say!!!!??? Truly beautiful diamonds with a family of gemstones!!! one if the most relaxing time off i have ever had and being around truly genuine down to earth people with always a great story And a laugh! with no smokes and mirrors this truly is a most beautiful adventure with everything along the way the great ocean road has to offer!
Fantastic meals and a very friendly welcoming hotel. Best in the region.
Very nice hidden historic place with a nice view! We would definetly recommend it! The food was verry good. Normally we don't like to go to pubs because of the frozen foods and baught sauces. We were very surprised that the food was all homemade, fresh and delicious. There were also great healthy foods on the menu (salmon with avocado salad). The staff was very friendly and we did not had to wait long until they served the food. It is definetly worth stopping by and relax in a special athmosphere!
Kinda' like one of my local watering holes here, so I am dead set sure I will come across with plenty of bias in what I write here. Well, so be it... read on if you want. You've been warned. The Boggy is your typical, down to earth Aussie country pub a Mum and Dad business that does what it does very well, without trying to be anything it's not. Food is very reasonable, but it's pub tucker, so you don't go here expecting the fare to attract three michelin stars. But and this is a very, very big but note this: the Boggy's chicken parmi was rated as THE best in the local area, in a poll our local newspaper was running a few months back. (Not entirely sure how large the area they were covering, but I guess they had lucky punters sampling chook parmis from Port Fairy in the west over to Lavers Hill in the east, and probably up to the Princes Highway to our north. Quiet a reasonably sized area). Also, it's a pub so how's the beer? Cold, as it should be. Brown, as well. Goes down well. Absolutely brilliant on a hot day. Not much worse on a colder day. Not much else I can say about it, truth be told. Cheers Tony
