Mac's Fish - Timaru

Awesome fish and chips we had some shockers around NZ but happily these were definitely the best, and very cheap! I still think wistfully of this meal when I'm back home, eating oven baked fish from the freezer with frozen chips. What a life...

Great little fish n chip shop! Fish cooked to order and a few good choices. Fish and chips were cooked to perfection and presented in a box slid into a paper bag. Good choice and variety of burgers , wraps etc. Service was prompt and friendly. Value for money .

This was a great place to stop on our way through Timaru. Good price for the fish and chips, great taste and friendly staff.

Did something most nz chippies haven't learnt to do.. make fish'n'chips fast! We all agreed the fish( elephant) was probably the nicest fish we've had for many a long year. Great place

Great chips and helped me with my GF needs. While husband love the home made curry rolls. Good parking. Will be back.
