Old Oregon Smokehouse - Tillamook

The cashier didn't know what kind of cheese was used in the grilled cheese, the chowder was gluten free, but served lukewarm. The main grill cook took a break sp my husband was almost finished with his lunch when I got my sandwich.

The BEST food we have had on the Oregon coast! They can do gluten free fish and chips and it was amazing! Everything is fresh and hand breaded. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. We loved it!!

Really disappointed in the $28 tip crab melt I purchased today at the tillamook location. As a local I see the difference. The food is great, this item for me is not worth the price.

Older worn building in Tillamook. Ordered takeout of 2 halibut fish and chips and one chowder. The chowder was very good. They'll let you sample prior to buying which is a plus. The halibut was fresh and tasty with a very light batter coating. The salted fries were droopy but tasted good maybe because it was takeout). The coleslaw was perfect. Friendly staff.This place has potential to be great and 5 star but not there yet.

Fairly good food directly across the street from the Tillamook Creamery. When you 're on the highway look for the yellow sign. The best thing we ate at Old Oregon Smokehouse was their fish 'n chips (cod). The batter was light and tasty, and the fish tasted fresh and was impressively prepared. The fries were fairly limp and on the soggy side. We also shared a bowl of pretty good clam chowder. What might have made this a four-star review was a chance to try their crab cakes, which other reviewers rave about, and the reason we came to Old Oregon Smokehouse that day. They weren 't offering crab cakes that day. Not sold out of them. Just not offering them. Two star building. Outdoor seating at old picnic tables. Bus your own table.
