Sheetz - Thurmont

This is a small town, 24 hour gas station with essentially a full service kitchen. There is a nearby college, and few places open past 9pm that serve food. The staff have ALWAYS been courteous, but wait times can be long on weekends. The entitlement in other reviews is embarrassing.

My food was made in a reasonable about of time which is why I gave it two stars. I got a chicken sandwhich with heavy mayo and ketchup and fry’s. Fry’s came out as expected and are still good 15 min after ordering. The chicken sandwich on the other hand is as tough as jerky. I could feel the integrity of the sandwhich was not good upon taking it out of the bag. Opening it I dissected the sandwhich to find a little bit of mayo and no ketchup. Biting the sandwhich is a different animal. It took all I got to take a bite out of this sucker. Chewing for 2 min I felt my jaw cramping because I’m intoxicated and dehydrated. Second bite was out of oure hunger and now I’m writing a review.

Saturday evening I came here it was around 7pm I placed a order for Italian sausages and bucket of fries it said 29 minute wait and since I had had a long hard day I said okay to the 29 minutes this was for curbside 40 minutes later I walk in to ask them where my order was it was setting on the counter The man behind the counter said they were the only two working he didn't say sorry he just expected me to take the food off the counter and go on and eat it the fries were so cold they felt like they come out of the refrigerator and they were all limp like strings and even the sausages were soggy I asked him to remake them he just looked at me and said nothing so I had to get a refund and they had to replace a order in order to give me a refund because they couldn't even do a refund based on my order without putting it back in if you can't do curbside you should turn the feature off not let somebody wait 40 minutes but if you make somebody wait 40 minutes and you don't even say you're sorry you should at least remake their food at a minimum

Today was another different problem. Stopped for a soda. Gentlemen in front of me fills up 4 cups of ice which I suspect he did not pay for and leaves the store. Nobody caught him. Shady management. This should not happen.

Horrible. The worst Sheetz I’ve been to. 20 minutes wait for a cold hot dog. Disgustingly dirty.
