Green Dragon - Thurgoland

Moved out of Thurgoland about 40 years ago. On a rare visit back this weekend my wife and I popped in for a couple of beers prior to a walk. Received a warm welcome and enjoyed a nice chat with new landlady, Aya, who had only taken charge of the pub recently. Wish you every success Aya for your future in a lovely village.

Nice little pub in a little sleepy village. But Friday night is Karaoke night with Gerry. Come on down Friday nights and sing to your heart concent with Gerry.

We popped in for a post carboot wine but ended I up having lunch too ????... The pub has such a welcoming atmosphere and the new land lady and team make The Green Dragon very welcoming! We both had the chicken burger and I cannot normally eat a full brioche bun but this was light and delicious... Chips were heavenly!! Would highly recommend The Green Dragon for a drink or food ????
