Ichiban Sushi House - Thornhill

This restaurant is a fantastic choice for those craving Japanese and Korean cuisine. The sushi is incredibly fresh and the Korean dishes are top-notch. I was pleasantly surprised by the pork bone soup, which was unique with vegetables but no potatoes. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating. Instead of the usual candy, they offer a piece of gum with the bill, a delightful change. Overall, this is a wonderful spot for a la carte sushi and Korean food in Vaughan.

I ordered takeout for a Wok tray and shrimp tempura. It came with seaweed salad and miso soup. The pick-up process was smooth and the food was ready at the scheduled time. The sashimi and sushi were exceptionally fresh and delicious! The rolls had a perfect amount of rice. I was very pleased with the meal overall. I highly recommend this restaurant.

It's been a while since I visited here before covid and I love the new atmosphere. Delicious food and friendly service as always!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was great and they have a wide variety of menu options. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Their sushi rolls were inventive and delicious, with a mix of classics and creative choices. I was particularly impressed with the Blue Mountain Roll, which had a spicy salmon filling and was generously topped with additional ingredients. It was definitely a hearty and satisfying dish. The portions were generous and I had plenty to take home for lunch the next day. Overall, it was a pleasant surprise and I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Great SUSHI restaurant. We will return many times and recommending to others. That restaurant serves more than sushi. The dishes we chose were delicious and inexpensive.
