A set 3-course menu, only choice dessert or cheese. starter was 3 dishes, spinat suppe. melone with parma ham and a small piece of trout. all petit but beautifully presented! the main was a cassole with sweet, not again an overwhelming amount. the piece...de resistance was 3 small puddings...Apple crumbling, cream caramel and a heavenly pannacotta. with the chateau vin. a reasonable visit to lunch in unusual environment in chateau, though we were in the corridor!
