Bidrage med feedbackThis place is a restaurant during summer, and a self-service during winter. There are periods when it is not opened (eg during automn outside of the weekends), so you had better check it in advance. The restaurant is currently being completely rebuilt anew. The new restaurant shall open by the end of 2020, probably with a new team, so we will have to wait and see what it becomes. Notwithstanding the reshuffling, the restaurant is still open during summer 2020, thanks to outside service on a small terrasse. The waitresses are diversified, meaning some are very friendly and efficient, and some others are a bit passive and stressed. The meals were very good, and typical for the region. We had a very good time. It is advised to arrive early (say, before 12:30) or to book a table in advance.
In winter, you will find the usual fast-food cooking: burgers, fries, pastas, steak, etc. But you will also have at least one dish-of-the-day that will be closer to traditional French cooking. Prices are very reasonable for a ski restaurant close to Switzerland. Tip: during winter week-ends you may want to arrive not too late (say, before 12:15), as there may be local ski competitions in which case the whole region will be rushing into the restaurant and you are at risk not to find a seated place queuing for a long time. You also have a small bar area, which is useful to get a beer without having to wait in the self-service queue.
What a fantastic restaurant. Wonderful service and the food was reasonably priced, beautifully presented and cheerfully served against the backdrop of the hills and valleys
Very simple , wholesome food. Drinks in the sun on the balcony overlooking the ski runs (winter or summer)
Nice cooking welcome. To be recommended after a walk in the heart of the packs.
