Tommy Bahama Bar The Woodlands

As one of our favorite spots. Disappointed in the case of changes to some food (goat cheese appetizer). Also the normally delicious chocolate Martini was not even good enough to finish. disappointment, especially for prices.

Disappoint. It's been here several times. This time was different- service was extremely slow. They seemed short staff, but servers ran everywhere. It's so dark there at 6:30 am most people used the flashlights on their phones to see the menu. The food was mediocre. My daughters were enough. My Mahi mahi was meh. ligaments and burgers good. Creole Pasta good. There was a live entertainer who sounded pretty good, but we wouldn't hear anything because the sound level in this place was like a very loud bar inside. We could not hear each other talking about the table and the server literally shouted out the descriptions of desserts. We were here for a birthday that no one unfortunately recognized. The service started ok, but took a deep nasal dive for the worse. We couldn't help anyone clear our dishes. We asked Dessert twice. Nothing. My husband has followed someone who works there (someone who worked there at this point) and asked after the bill, gave him his credit card while standing there to pay for how he was afraid it took 30 minutes to pay the bill from the table. He also asked that the desserts go as we were in the restaurant for two hours, which was more than long enough in the dark, EXTREMELY loud decor. We are quite disappointed about the birthday dinner especially given the prices that are quite high for this kind of food. I don't pay for great service, food and ambience. Unfortunately it wasn't.

Consistently fine quality meals in an excellent and varied setting.

It was a little loud in the area near the bar due to the music. Service was a little slow but no fault to our server and we did like that our dinner was t rushed. Most likely a kitchen issue. Our server, Jonathan was attentive, personable and overall a fantastic waiter.
