Third Gen Coffee - The Woodlands

I started going to 3rd Gen around the time the pandemic let up to get things to-go in 2020 and continued to come by when I went back to school in a neighboring city. On weekends I’d make the 45 minute drive with friends, go before trips, and especially drive out on days when I needed a little burst of joy. On occasion I sat in to study in 2022. The staff was always so friendly, I never once got a wrong order! Nothing— and I mean nothing beats a 3rd Generation Latte. I have been to plenty of coffee shops all over since but the richness of the espresso and the smooth consistency of their lattes has never been matched. I can pin point a time when I made a trip over and after paved a plan for a community organization that ended up coming to full life and connected a lot of good folks through the years. Someone asked me once, ‘How did you get the idea to do this?’ And I thought back to sitting in a sunny corner of my room after a lovely trip to my favorite coffee shop. Yes, big things can spark from some kindness and a few sips of coffee. It’s been 3 years since the highlight of my day was a 3rd Gen trip during an odd and isolating time—and I now live thousands of miles away with a life I thought could only be imagined. Sometimes I get a real pinch of gratitude/nostalgia and miss the time that now feels so far away… and of course miss the best coffee I have ever had. 3rd Gen has a special place in my heart and story. If I can’t be there to support their business, I hope this review convinces you to. Enjoy it! Because one day your story might take some turns and you’ll be yearning to be next in line at the counter like me. My best to the staff, well wishes, always.

It’s a good place, I like it for studying time. However this is the first time that It has happened to me. Upstairs far back I noticed Roaches in the back coaches. I killed them. I would definitely check on those coaches upstairs. That was my queue to go. The place is fantastic tho.Food: 5/5

I've visited all the coffee shops in The Woodlands and surrounding Magnolia looking for good coffee. After living in Europe for a number of years, a good espresso is hard to find. 3rd gen is by far the best tasting coffee I've found in the area. Always consistent and delicious. I love their almond milk and even their flavored lattes are great.
