Bidrage med feedbackMy husband and I went to visit House of pies in the woodlands our visit was fantastic. Love love the decor in the restrooms . They were clean!!! The service we received was prompt and friendly. The food was excellent. I had a fish Poboy. the bun was soft; the fish was cooked to perfection. My husband had a burger a bacon cheeseburger. He loved it. He had a very happy plate and a happy belly. I loved it too. Our server name was Justin who was very nice and very helpful in making our selections. We will return to this location in the future. We loved i!!! . I have nothing bad to say. . We even got dessert. It was an ice box lemon pie. If you're ever in The woodlands please go check out the House of pies you won't regret it
We had never tried anything from the House of Pies before. Instead of making a pie for our Easter dinner, my wife decided we would pick up a Lemon Meringue pie this year. The lemon filling and meringue were quite good, but the crust was overcooked and very hard. My grandmother was an expert pastry and dessert chef, and her lemon meringue pie crust was different - not totally precooked but partially so that when the pie finished baking, the crust would be tender and flavorful with the filling. Recently, we also tried the chocolate meringue pie, which had a great filling and meringue but again, a hard, overcooked crust. Despite this, I believe anyone who tries one of these pies will enjoy it.
The food at this restaurant is incredibly delicious, I would eat here every day if I could! I adore the staff, they are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. It's clear that they are passionate about their work.
First of all my waitress Kelly M. was very attentive, sweet and I would even go as far to say she went above and beyond to ensure I had an enjoyable breakfast. I was greeted with a smile and a water. I had a delicious cup of coffee and enjoyed the waffle platter with scrambled eggs and sausage patty. Not only was the food nice and hot but the waffle was not under done, which I find so many times in quick breakfast places. The eggs were not dry or runny and the sausage patty was cooked throughout, again not what you find and quick breakfast places that are trying to hurry and get food out. I will 100% be back with my family and I will gladly ask for Kelly if she is there.
The pies are amazing. Breakfast is quite good. The dinner items are not their strong point. Chicken fried steak came from a frozen patty. Again it’s a great place to go for breakfast and sandwiches and of course pie.
