Bidrage med feedbackMenu is boring and so overpriced. Without the accor card there is no way , I would pay $50 for a chewy piece of steak. one weekly special and on a Sunday only !! What about a Sunday roast , a pie of the month , chicken Kiev , ribs If I lived in this area , I would be so bored with the same same menu , but really there is no where else to go, if you live around here No music and the bar closes at 8.45 pm during the week. I'm not a burger fan and theres 5 burgers on the menu , the pizza bases here are naff( less is no more on pizza, good quality toppings make a pizza) And what's happened to Muscats that's breakfast only now We used to love to coming the vines, but think we will give the place a miss next year Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1
As Vines residents we come here regularly however, we will be taking a detour until some significant changes happen. The place has no atmosphere, furniture and aesthetics tired and out of date, food overpriced, service shocking and current management terrible. Recently had dinner at Wembley Downs golf course and my oh my, what a difference. The venue was spectacular, food delicious and reasonably priced and service outstanding! Vines resort, please do something about your facilities and spend some money bringing this venue up to date, to ensure memorable experiences for locals as well as guests. I recently visited with one other, excited to enjoy a night out. However, our experience quickly turned sour when the bar closed 10:30pm well before the advertised closing time 11pm. Not only did this ruin our plans for the evening, but it left us feeling disappointed and frustrated. The staff's explanation was unsatisfactory, and their lack of consideration for customers' expectations was truly disappointing. We won't be returning anytime soon! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
The service provided by Kiera was amazing. Kiera helped us to make a decision with the lunch menu. Her suggestions was spot on. Her professionalism and enthusiasm was unbelievable. True management quality. The vines should be truly proud to have such a wonderful employee. Thank you. You have made us feel very welcome. For that we will definitely be returning to the Vines Cafe. A friend and myself attended this cafe/bar recently. What an eye opener. Lets start with the outrageous price they charge for drinks. A pint of ginger ale and a pint of coke $20. Most expensive drinks I have had. We ordered our food when ordering the first drinks. Two fish and chips. After waiting for what seemed forever I went up and asked what had happened to our order. I said it seemed like it was close to an hour since we ordered. The staff member said it was 20 mins as she had taken our order when she came on shift. When returning to the table and checking the app as we paid by card it was 45 mins. Nothing like the customer is always right type attitude. The food eventually arrives. The fish was nice but the chips were soggy and the worst chips I have ever had served. They looked like they were cut from a potatoe and left in water for hours. The salad served with it was a couple of scraps of lettuce with a couple of bits of tomato. For $32 a meal which is the most expensive fish and chips I have had from a restauaunt, it was well below acceptable standard. In trying to ring the Vines Resort to speak to someone prior to writing this review was a complete waste of time. Four phone calls pressing the different buttons to try to get someone resulted in a half hour wasted as no department answered their phone. I would not recommend this restaurant to others. It is completely overpriced and the food is only just acceptable. The lack of available people and the disinterest of staff should tell you everything. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
