Ambrosia On The Square - The Villages

Excellent choices for vacationers to buy Florida souvenirs. Very nice place to shop.

Ambrosia on the Square is a neat little shop with some great gifts and fantastic ice cream. The gifts are funny and whimsical with many being beach or Florida oriented. There is a decent selection of items that would make great gifts, including coasters, wine bottle toppers, magnets, bottle openers, etc. There are also knick knacks and wall art. The store has several varieties of wine too. The real draw, in my opinion, is the ice cream. Vanilla, Orange, lime, or pineapple soft serve. Those are flavors you don't ordinarily find I'm soft serve, but the are quite tasty. I strongly recommend the lime and orange. There are also a number of cookies, and depending on the day, several varieties of pie as well. My most recent visit had apple crumble pie, key lime pie, and a bunch of different cookies. The staff is friendly if not overly enthusiastic, but they know their jobs and will quickly assist you if you have any questions. Definitely a place to visit if you're in Lake Sumter Landing at The Villages!

Horrible, horrible, horrible! I've detested this place for years bc they way employees treat the customers. The baked goods and ice cream are not edible. The only people who shop here are tourist who don't know any better.
