Malieveld Pavilion - The Hague

This place is VERY close to the train station. Apparently, it is known for its pancakes. My son had one and he really enjoyed it. I had a cheese, ham and mushroom omelette. It was also very good. The place is right next to a deer park, so it is quite peaceful sitting outside.

Lovely place to have real Dutch poffertjes. For all expats, you can't say you visited Holland without ever tasting poffertjes. This is the place to try and taste them!

The “poffertjes” were awful! Dense instead of fluffy, undercooked and no salt. This was a sad excuse for what should have been a wonderful tasty lunch. Visited 28 June 2023

I dislike to leave bad reviews, but I was disappointed with the food. The waffle was ok, however the fresh fruits were already fermented and not fresh at all. The coffee was bitter.. but the staff was friendly. However for those prieces, I expected a bit more.

Charming and picturesque spot in the heart of The Hague. The outdoor seating area offers a peaceful respite from the city, with views of the surrounding greenery. Top-notch Pancakes and Poffertjes. Recommend visiting!
