Bidrage med feedbackThe lemongrass infused tofu has been my favorite for years. They also have banh bao and silky soft tofu dessert with ginger syrup. Definitely recommend!
The best tofu that I’ve ever had. Love to go back there again.
They sell traditional Vietnamese tofu and other delicious food. Been buying from them for 10+years. Ownership has changed several times, yet food quality was never compromised.
We has been coming here for our tofu but But as Sept-2023 they have a new owner, Mostly cast only. They do not give receipts , Credit card will be charge extra for the services ? and receipts.
Tucked in an unassuming, green center across from aging Kong City Mall, the shop clearly caters to regulars. There is a large, shared parking lot that was surprisingly full at 1 pm on a Friday or perhaps it's not that surprising? We don't go very often.)There are handwritten signs for most everything in Vietnamese and a few key words in English along with the prices. There are snacks in the first section on the left and the fried tofu is by the back left corner. We were in the area and decided to stop by on the recommendation of our dad and a few family friends. We're vegetarian and though this place does serve foods that contain meat, they do have vegetarian options. We focused on the fried tofu of varying flavors think woodear fungus and lemongrass) that are offered on buffet style food warmers and it's all self help. There are tongs and plastic bags you put your choices in mix and match! The rectangular prisms are 4 for $1 whereas the longer tofu wrapped in bean curd are a little more, but it's all under $2. Near the door, I spotted fried donut cruellers commonly eaten with rice congee and I got a stick of that for my daughter who loves them $1.75). They do accept card but they'll charge you a fee so I scrounged up some cash for it. There was one lady in the front who did her job and there was steady traffic of customers. No place to eat in there that I can remember so it's purely a to go sort of place. We didn't eat the tofu or the fried bread until 2 days later. Heated the tofu up in a pan with some oil eaten with some soy sauce it is delicious! Perfect crisp on the outside with pillowy soft innards. Great as a side or even a snack! My daughter loved the bread we just heated that for a few seconds in the microwave.A great place for fresh tofu and snacks! I'll definitely stop by again and see what else they have.
