Bidrage med feedbackI had the tacos chicken, beef and pastor. The pastor was TO DIE FOR . I've never tasted anything like that. It was small and homey feeling. Food did take longer than expected, but was well worth the wait. The waitress didn't speak English but she quickly got someone else who could take our order. Def would go back!
You HAVE to give this hidden gem a TRY! Let me start by saying they have by far the most delicious Aguas frescas I ordered the Limonada and it was delicious. I also ordered a gordita de chicharron prensado and one of papás con chorizo they were both delicious. The bottled salsa had a good flavor but in my opinion way too watery. I love the flavor of the food here everything was delicious but they would have exceeded my expectations if they would give chips n homemade warm salsa for the wait.
Place is small and there was only 1 waiter that does everything food was ok not very hot more on the cold side I ordered chilaquiles which came with eggs and beans(beans were so cold) corn tortillas are made fresh by
Like the other reviewer stated the listed and posted prices are not the price you pay for.For a small business it's not hard for the OWNER to organize the menu, and use white tape to correct price the food menus. The posted signs also reflect a different price. This is a clear violation of the FTC regarding quoted pricing and actual pricing. You need to honor posted pricing as this falls under fall price advertising. The waitress also was not familiar with pricing which does not help either. It's understandable that pricing are subject to change thanks to Bidenomics. No the food. The torta shows $8.99 turned out to be $9.99. The outside was hot and the fajita was cold.Decaffeinated coffee was prepared from an instant beverage, but not properly stirred and still had grains in it.The tacos were listed as $2.25 and charged at $2.50- again false advertising.Over all the ambience is nice for a hole in the wall place to eat very traditional Mexico. The decor and music. The service can be improved as the wait staff should be familiar with pricing. Just saying that prices have gone up is not sufficient. After all we work hard for the money and the client pays for it.Parking: It's a general parking for the strip center.
The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because almost every price is whited out and you're not really sure what you're paying. With that being said I also didn't like the fact that there are no fountain drinks and no sweet tea, so no refills even though for the business standpoint it is good.Coffee is made with bottled water which is a plus but they use instant coffee to make it. We saw people bringing in their own drink cups filled. Not sure if that's the norm.Food is definitely authentic but the hot sauces are bland and watery. We tried the tacos which were outstanding on homemade corn tortillas. The Gorditas had great taste but the picadillo in spicy sauce lacked picadillo, it had lots of potatoes and no ground beef. Overall we paid $31 and we're satisfied. We will be returning to try other dishes. I would recommend coming at least once.
