Bidrage med feedbackEvery year we celebrate either my birthday or our anniversary at Etoile. This year we celebrated our 25th anniversary. Service was great, the food was spectacular and we loved the room we were in as opposed to the general seating area when you enter the restaurant. I would highly recommend for any occasion or a special occasion.
We having been going to Etoile for years and love it every time we go! The Gruyère mushroom omelette is wonderful! Thank you for making my birthday special! We ate (like we always do) in the wine room. The atmosphere, music, staff are the best!
Etoile has become our first choice when visiting Houston. Last night was no exception with Artan as our waiter we had a very delicious French dinner. The short rib was perfect and the sole almondine delicious. We will continue to keep this place first ahead of other big steakhouses.
Both had the lobster bisque; it was heavy on pepper and salt and lacked substance. The Eggs Benedict hollandaise was bland and lacking in some acidity. Service is what you'd expect but we got the impression that our waiter was a little heavy loaded on tables to attend.
Wonderful food. I had mushroom ravioli, braised short ribs, and a chocolate pastilla. Service was excellent. My only quibble is that, as a lone diner, they put me at a cruddy table, which was unnecessary.
