Never disappoints! Best italian margaritas and the food is all so good!

Went there with my wife to have a veal Osso Buco that they claim to carry everyday unusual in real Italian restaurants . Just to be sure, I called at noon. Yes, we have it . We arrived at 4:00 PM, the only dinner guests at that time, ordered one veal Osso Buco, one Chicken Parmigiano and 2 salads. After 10 minutes and the salads, an unapologetic waiter said that they had no Osso Buco. To make it worse, the chicken was floating in some kind of a liquid sided by overcooked risotto ?! . Service by the waiter and the manager was rude with a confrontational attitude.

Dining experience was amazing. Ahi wasn’t over cooked and risotto was perfect. The service was just as exceptional as the food. I would have expected to pay more than what was charged. Kudos to the manager.

My husband and I were coordinating meals for a group of people attending a conference in Houston this month. First, let me say I was not impressed with Houston as a city. However, Mia Bella Trattoria on Richmond Avenue is a true diamond in the ruff. Now, we are from the New York area- the heart of Italian cuisine so going into the dinner we did not have high hopes, but the staff at Mia Bella blew us out of the water!! A few weeks before our visit I called to make a reservation for 10 people which was easy and pleasant. The morning of our reservation the restaurant called to confirm and I informed them we would be a party of 14 instead of the initial 10 which I was told was not a problem and it would be their pleasure. It was so great to hear when I was turned down by several other restaurants for other days we were in town. We walked into the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and great decor we experienced. The drinks were delicious, the menu was expansive (every single member of our group said they found at least 4 different entrees they were considering ordering in addition to the option of creating your own pasta or risotto dish), and the food was delectable! Our waiter Dane was equally as impressive in his customer service skills-as a former waitress I know how difficult large parties can often be, but Dane took great care of our group! Thank you so much for creating a great experience for our group while we visited Houston for our conference. If our travels ever bring us to Houston, TX again we will definitely be stopping by Mia Bella again!!

Our party of eighteen enjoyed the private dining room and friendly staff. From appetizers to dessert, the food was served promptly, and everything was delicious. The manager, Dane, was very accommodating, and our waiter did a terrific job. They helped to make our engagement party even more special! The convenience of the parking garage with free parking was a bonus. Highly recommend!
