Bidrage med feedbackWe had a lovely dinner in this restaurant, passing on our way home. Not everything on the menu was available, but that is a good sign isn't it? Try the local specials!
Our family of four visited in October 2013, and were warmly welcomed as their guests. We ordered as appetizers, the Escargot and Bone Marrow. For Entrees, three of us ordered the oxtail and one order a fish over sauerkraut. (This sounded awful to me, but when I tried it, I was delighted on how great it was. The Oxtail was over-the-top delicious, I only couldn't find enough room in me to continue to enjoy the huge portions.
We had drinks and "nibbles" here and they were ok, but could have been better. The cheese plate was alot of cheese with no accompanying bread or crackers. The tarte flambee with munster cheese was crispy and good. A side salad was good. The menu for dinner was simple, and largely french alsatian.The one waitress did a great job managing all the tables.
Une excellente surprise, produits frais, certains bio, une certaine créativité.Mon amie et moi apprécions beaucoup Thannenkirch pour les randos et nous faisons toujours un plaisir de faire une pause dans ce petit resto qui propose d'autres alternatives par rapport à ses concurents, certes recommandables mais trop "classiques". N'hésitez pas, le couple qui gère la maison est très sympa, madame au service, monsieur en cuisine.
Spécialités alsacienne dans une auberge de charme nichée au milieu d'un village authentique.Accueil charmant également.A conseiller vivement.
