Old Kent Smoke Shack - Thanet

We were pleasantly surprised when we walked through the door of this enchanting restaurant. The cozy atmosphere created by the soft lighting made it feel magical. The vegan options were out of this world and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend checking this place out!

In this cozy little restaurant, there is so much to offer. Unfortunately, due to COVID restrictions, only a few tables were open when I visited. However, the bakery selection was impressive and I will definitely be back to try more. We ordered the Rumchata hot chocolate and Baileys latte, both of which were absolutely delicious and served in large, beautiful takeaway cups. It would be highly recommended to warm up the seating! We can't wait for the day when we can fully enjoy dining in again.

Not everything was open, but many vegan options, high-quality eating, beautiful interieur and friendly people, worth a visit!

This is the best vegan cafe I have ever tried. The salads are amazing and you get great value for your money. The portions are so big that you could easily split a meal between two people. And don't even get me started on the delicious chocolate brownies.

Love this place. Little special food outlets, a fab baker, a herbalist breakfast venue to meet all your quick food needs!!
