Vino’s Italian Kitchen - Thackerville

This restaurant is supposed to be fine dining IT IS NOT! The food is not bad, but the service is deplorable,and a huge disappointment! I used to work in the service industry, so I 'm very sympathetic with who may be having a bad day, BUT there 's no excuse for RUDENESS! I simply asked for a bread plate. The server stated she would be bringing out the salad. When the salad came we were all still holding our bread in mid air, waiting for the bread plate, so I asked NICELY AGAIN could we please have a bread plate. She left the table , and a few minutes later she came back asking if everything was all right. I then said if I have to ask 3 times for a bread plate, I would go get the manager. I actually had to point to the bread plates on the shelf ! She confronted me at the end of the meal by saying she had heard that I made a comment about HILLBILLIESI which I did but only to my family. And in a quiet voice) I said , Do hillbillies not use bread plates? When she confronted me , I told her in a teaching manner) I told her that when a customer asks for something, you either get it for them or tell them you don 't have it. She walked away saying I hope you get the day you deserve We were there to celebrate my daughter 's birthday. Needless to say this server ruined what was supposed to be a special occasion. We had dinner there last night. Chicken parmesan and spaghetti and meatballs were amazing. And our server Stacey was the best. We definitely will be back and ask for her!

It’s great to have such nice restaurant in a casino. The food was excellent. The portions are amazing, neither my husband or I could finish our plates, and my husband can eat a good portion. The meals come with salad and fresh breadsticks. I will definitely go there again. The only thing that was small was the pepperoni pizza, but we were so full we took it to go along with our leftover to go boxes. We decided to eat at Vino's for lunch on Thursday, August 10th. The host seated us, gave us the menu, he told us who the waitress will be. We waited for 5 minutes, the waitress did not come to the table. The waitress didn't acknowledge us. We noticed the restaurant wasn't crowded, the waitresses were walking around us, they never came to our table. Because of the lack of service, we chose to leave. We don't want to think this was a racial situation. It was sad to have been ignored. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Service: 1
