Bidrage med feedbackIt was Mother's Day with a party of 7, 3 of us were moms. The menu was a special one for the day with a children's menu that we also used. The main course was superb especially the Bratbeef but after the 2, which had fish of the day, was also very good. The childish part of the pasta was obviously also delicious because this led to an empty plate. On the way to dessert I had the sticky fabric pudding that was the best I had for a long time, light and delicious. The chocolate brew also went down and the cheese cake. If it had to be a negative, it was that there was no special attention for the mothers, but all in all it was great and I would be back for another mother day independent
First visit to The Fleet. No special opportunity to eat lunch with people on Saturday for a bite. Really impressed. Nice ambience, friendly staff and food cooked to order. Had net and dessert, all freshly prepared, and we all enjoyed our meals. We're coming back!
The food at this restaurant is excellent and the setting is absolutely stunning. On warm summer days, you can enjoy your meal outdoors.
I made a reservation to celebrate my mother's birthday. Upon arrival, the menu seemed appealing and the restaurant had a lovely view by the river. There was a cozy open fire and the staff were friendly. However, I personally felt that the prices were high for the portion sizes and quality of food. Unfortunately, I do not plan on returning or recommending this restaurant to others.
We have visited The Fleet on several occasions and have generally found it to be a good place to dine. However, during our most recent visit, there were some issues. The table we had booked through OpenTable was initially lost in the system, but fortunately it was eventually found and reserved for us. Despite there being six of us, there was only one menu on the table and we were not offered a wine list. The website had advertised a promotion where ordering fish from the Friday specials board would come with a free 175ml glass of house wine if you quoted "I love fish", but the waitress seemed unaware of this offer. Two members of our party enjoyed their dishes from the specials menu, which included sea bass with risotto. However, the portion sizes were disappointingly small - the risotto portion was meager and the sea bass appeared to have been cut in half. The service was lacking, as the waitress seemed unprepared and the pub was not very busy at the time. Overall, this visit was very disappointing.
