Andover Tandoori - Test Valley

It wouldn't be fair to judge the food at this restaurant since I didn't even get a chance to order. I waited for a bit, which is understandable, but when the guy finally came to take my order, he interrupted me to answer a phone call and completely ignored me. I ended up going to Sultan, a place I had never tried before, and I had a great meal there. So, in a way, I am grateful for the poor service at the other restaurant!

After hearing rave reviews about this restaurant, we decided to treat ourselves to a Sunday night meal. We placed an order through Deliveroo at 9:20pm, but unfortunately it was declined at 9:35pm because the restaurant was too busy to fulfill our order. It was disappointing to wait 15 minutes only to find out we wouldn't be receiving our meals. As a result, we won't be ordering from this restaurant again.

I ordered food online for delivery at 7:30 pm. It had not arrived by 7:45 pm, so I tried to call but only got an answering machine. I called again at 8 pm and was told it was out for delivery. Still, nothing arrived, so I continued to call but only received automated responses. At 9 pm, I left a message saying if we didn't hear anything in the next 10 minutes, we would cancel our order. When we didn't hear anything, we sent an email canceling our order and requesting a full refund. After three days with no communication, I called again and spoke to the manager who arranged for the refund. I have enjoyed their food in the past but will not use them again after this experience.

After ordering food totalling £14 my bank was charged over £24 that's nearly 50% for delivery ,no mention of delivery charges on menu ,beware

We have used Andover Tandoori for a few years now and always enjoyed the food. However more recently on 4 occasions now they have missed items from our order and on return from a 20 mile round trip this is frustrating and inconvenient. I don’t understand how they can make the same reoccurring **** up so frequently. It definitely takes the shine off of having a treat takeaway when you have to start cooking rice when you get home to make up for what they missed off your order! ! I won’t be recommending to friends anymore
