Abbots Mitre - Test Valley

I stopped by for lunch on a Saturday and was pleased to find that it was sausage week at the pub, in addition to their regular menu. The food was of good quality and reasonably priced. The service was excellent, and our waitress was knowledgeable about the selection of real ales available, which is a rare find these days. I will definitely be returning in the future.

This charming pub has a spacious parking lot and offers a warm welcome. They have a diverse menu along with daily specials, and also provide outdoor seating. I would highly recommend this place, especially for those looking to enjoy some lovely walks in the surrounding area. Additionally, the pub is dog and child friendly.

We called the restaurant to see if they could accommodate at very short and they were very happy to help. We were taken straight to our table on arrival and the restaurant was very busy with Christmas parties, it was a lovely atmosphere. We...had a fabulous table, giving us lots of room from other guests, we felt very safe in regard to the Covid situation. All staff were very welcoming and friendly. Also made us feel safe by wearing face coverings. The food was excellent and such good value. Service was excellent too. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area. Thank you for making us feel very welcomed!

My family went to this restaurant last night and we had a great experience. The staff at the bar were friendly and helpful in seating us at a table of our choice. The restaurant had a nice fire going which added to the cozy atmosphere. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Our waitress was lovely and attentive. We enjoyed our main meals and desserts, which were tasty and piping hot. The desserts were particularly delicious. The napkins were made of cotton, a nice touch compared to the usual paper napkins. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable meal. The car park was spacious as well. Highly recommend.

Really lovely food and service, ribs to die for which melted in the mouth,,,,,from the specials board, looked after by the staff so well, so attentive and quick after asking for more drinks…will be returning very soon again……
