Atra Doftana - Teșila

The restaurant is located in a fabulous natural environment, overlooking the lake, surrounded by mountains, ideal for a relaxed fine cuisine. The right time to eat on the terrace is during the day, the evening could be a bit cool for it. And then the view is not so spectacular. We waited for the Amuse Bouche in vain, so the soup was quite welcome after a day of hiking. The pheasant soup was the best, they said it was the speciality of the cook. If the rest of the food was as good as this soup, I don't think we would have found a table there with a reservation. The other, the cream of mushroom soup was average. Even the main courses could not meet the high expectations of the pheasant soup. The meat from wild boar with mushrooms should have been boiled longer... it was hard and chewing. The beef planole with green salad should not be included in the menu, its taste was below the level of a fine restaurant, closer to some push the tray places. At the end we enjoyed candy and charming views with a glass of wine... the best moment of our lunch. The food was usually ok, but not excellent, with prizes worthy fine food. It does not deserve a special trip, but a short stop safe, especially since it does not have too many other possibilities in this area. At least for the offered view, it received a total score of 3/5.

Amazing place with magnificent view and excellent food! We had a beef in pastries, Petersip and Romanian truffles, deer with celery Puree and a Demi-Glaus sauce and for dessert a pistachio mousse, chocolate and candy floss in a beautiful, artistic presentation! The place is good for fine food, relax, kayak and about 4x4 adventures on the mountain. I recommend adding it to your list when you visit Brasov area! I wasn't at the hotel, only during the day for lunch.

Beautiful place, beautiful view, expensive food but delicious! Great place to do near the lake with several things! The food is not always the same, the menu is based on the local ingredients during this particular time. Welcome and friendly waitress.

We have enjoyed a very nice fine dining with wine pairing dinner. The food was very nice, very well presented and very tasty.

A beautifull location by the lake with proffesional staff and great gourme food. A pleasure to stay here and discover the nature. A big plus, awesome view from the room too
