Avalon Palace

Perfect place: not far away from the center of the city and right next to the railway station. Service is outstanding: one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever seen. Breakfast is good enough, you just shouldn’t expect any special dishes. Stayed there for 5 nights and would definitely recommend Avalon Hotel as a hotel you can stay in.

Stay overnight during traveling. Room was clean and tidy. Staff very polite. Breakfast was nice and reach . I will recommend this hotel for sure.

We spent 2 days here while visiting multiple cities in Ukraine during the summer of 2018 and this was one of the better hotels on our trip. The room was clean, service staff was pleasant, plenty of parking available and it was within walking distance of many beautiful sights in beautiful Ternopil. We could not complain about this hotel, even as Americans. I've stayed at worse hotels in America for more money.

Probably one of the best you can get in Ternopil but does not make it any good on a standalone basis. Definitely overpriced. Be prepared to enjoy railway sounds all night. And hope that that the neighbours will not be noisy.

Honestly, my first impression was great. Expensive design of the reception, new modern elevator, great interior solutions in the hall. My room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The room was pretty clean. Good mattresses, bed linen was fresh and crisp. The bathroom, however, was missing a bathrobe, there was no place to put your own hygiene items in the shower, no hook for a washcloth. Also, no trash can in the room, no promised complimentary bottle of water, too. Curtains and tulle had a couple of small brown spots on them. The wall light wasn't properly working in the bathroom. All of the above were not an extremely big disappointments, but the impression of the hotel was slightly ruined. Also, some not too customer friendly employees at the reception. As a person who's worked at the customer service position for more than 5 years there was a lack of smiles. It doesn't cost anything, but changes a lot. On the other hand, the restaurant staff was awesome! Smiling, friendly, sociable. Delicious breakfast, a large selection of dishes (there are dietary options). Fresh Italian coffee. Thank you. This hotel gets a firm B from me. Of course, there is a lot of things to work on, but there is also something that will make me want to come back one day.
