Axitla - Tepoztlán

At the foot of Tepozteco is this wonderful restaurant. In an oasis of green and small airy terraces, surrounded by lush green gardens (so convenient for these times of COVID). The menu is Mexican par excellence. Without accusations. Just delicious local cuisine. Friendly service. Prices are more than reasonable. If you go to Tepoztlán, this is undoubtedly an excellent way to eat delicious, with the magnificent view of Tepozteco, with all the safety measures against COVID and relax under so much green.

My wife and I ate lunch here and had a pretty good meal. I had the rabbit with adobo sauce and they really give you a lot of food! More than half the rabbit was served, along with a salad, some beans and some tasty tortillas. My wife had a chile en nogada, and while I have had better, it wasn't bad. The setting is nice, lots of great views of the forest.

Unbelievable food ants atmosphere. Just nice. After hiking to the pyramid and back, this was an oasis. Cold water and wonderful food.

Arrived. No one would take the order until we asked them. Drinks took 30 minutes to arrive. The food lasted an hour. Taste was average. No one would bring the bill. Wouldn't come back.

Está ubicado en la entrada del Tepozteco y es un lugar muy bonito, que tiene una terraza muy agradable rod una muy buena vista del cerro.La cocina y la atención son excelentes, tienen muy buenas entradas y diversos platillos típicos mexicanos. En especial recomiendo como entrada una alcachofa con queso roquefort y como plato fuerte el conejo adobado y las costillas agridulces, aunque toda lo que hay en menú es muy bueno.
