This place has a really good selection of vegan rolls. You have to try the tofu inari, the garden fire and the sweet potato rolls. The ramen is amazing as well.

Really nice variety of specialty rolls. The sweet potato tempura roll and lotus roll are my favorites. The tempura batter is vegan but they do warn that they may use a shared fryer with other non-veg items if you are concerned about cross contamination. They also offer vegan ramen which is really creamy and flavorful! The vegan “tuna” is made from bell pepper and is really unique with a smokey flavor. Overall this is some of the best veg sushi I’ve had in the valley. Highly recommend checking them out.

They have changed the vegan menu to vegetarian and their rolls which contain tempura are no longer vegan. Previous reviews stating that the tempura items are vegan are from old version of menu. They have less vegan rolls and options now. Disappointing. Updated from previous review on 2018-09-17

Sushi 101 is amazing. We've been coming here for years. It's the perfect place to bring family and friends who are not vegan. Everyone's happy!! My favorite rolls are the sweet potato roll, lotus roll and the Yuko roll (it's on their secret menu). Happy Cows maximum rating for a non vegetarian restaurant is 4 stars, otherwise I would totally give Sushi 101 FIVE stars!!!
