Pete's Fish Chips - Tempe

Every time I go in to this location in Tempe I have to ask them to lay down a piece of paper/sheet on the tray before they put the fries down because I noticed a while back that the foam tray was melting when the hot fries were set on the tray directly. I told them about it at that time and the response I got was- Do you rather get them hot or cold? And I responded with- I want them hot but I don’t want foam fries! So I figured it was a one time thing so I kept going there because I like Pete’s fish chips food and prices but it’s not worth my health. So either I’ll have to go to a different location when I get the chance or stop eating at their restaurants completely! I will make a few more trips to this location to see if they have made any changes and to provide more photos with the same issue if not fixed. To other customers before you start eating your fries check the tray and make sure you’re not eating foam fries!

I absolutely love Pete's fish and chips my brother in law who passed away on 2019 used to buy it for us all the time... great food great staff thank you guys all for the delicious

BRING CASH! Cash only and the ATM charges you a $2.50 fee, but to me it's still totally worth it for their fish and chips one of the best places to stop in the valley for it and that sauce is to die

Pete's has been a Valley staple as long as I can remember. Their quality has not changed one bit in the 6 decades I've been eating there. Best in the Valley.Wheelchair accessibility: All Pete's have a flat patio for full wheelchair or scooter access.
