Anaya's Fresh Mexican - Tempe

This is a great locally owned place. Love everything about it! Salsa (hot) is excellent. Every dish we've tried we've liked!

Super bland Mexican food. Ended up salting my chips at home and only eating that. Salsa was horrible, steak was bland, shrimp quesadilla made with sharp cheddar cheese. Not the authentic Mexican food we were looking for. Ordered out and will not

Wonderful restaurant with a warm and colourful interior. The food was fantastic! I really enjoyed my meal, some of the best Mexican food I've had.

So amazing! I found Anaya's through online reviews and am so glad I did. I had a combo with a chicken mole enchilada and a beef tamale. The mole. People, this is lick the plate good. A blend of chocolate and peanut butter and the perfectbspice in the enchilada. Oh my! The tamale was very tasty and the rice and beans on the side were just perfect. Everything was fresh and just the right kick. Then the server suggested sweet potato ice cream. I was weirdly curious, which paid off big time. So, so good. It's probably a good thing I don't live in the area, but if I am ever back, I know where I will be eating.

I ordered crispy grilled chicken tacos combo and a green chile burrito combo. Food looked fresh! Customer service was great! The food tasted good! I will be returning!
