The At Mount Palomar Winery - Temecula

We were very pleasantly surprised by the food quality! the chief specialist of the day was amazing! the menu is compact, not many options, but what they have is great! missing a small child menu, our son loved the flatbread, but still missed, at least one other option for him. the wine was also very good. platz looks beautiful, the view from the restaurant is not the most beautiful, I think they are in construction on the back. the hills and the wine tasting are very beautiful.

The vibe of this winery is amazing! There was a live band which made the night exciting, yet difficult to have conversation if that's what you're looking for. The waiter was kind and the hostess was very accommodating when we needed to move our reservation due to traffic. The only issues I had were that when we ordered a bottle of wine it was delivered uncorked and he didn't pour or let us try first (I know...first world issues), and we weren't informed they were closing soon so we had to rush to finish the bottle. Also, they were out of a lot of wines and the shrimp scampi was a little bland, good truffle fries though.

It took very long to get our food and drinks every time. the mixed drinks were not very good. my man and I paid almost $60 for a steak that tasted like carne asada that I grilled in my house
