Maharaja's - Telford and Wrekin

I placed a phone order at the local Maharaja restaurant in Madeley Telford. They informed me that it would take up to an hour for home delivery, and I agreed. The total cost was £30 for 2 curries and a naan bread, which I found to be quite expensive. However, when my order arrived about an hour later, I found that the curry containers had been squashed and the contents had spilled all over the bag and everything inside. I called the restaurant to speak to the manager about my experience, but he seemed indifferent and did not even offer an apology. As a local resident who remembers this restaurant opening in the 80's, I am extremely disappointed by the lack of care and attention to customers, especially considering the high prices. I will not be returning to this restaurant and will be sharing my negative experience with others.

Our first visit in probably 20 years. Pleasantly surprised really extensive menu very good service and the food was amazing. Probably the best Indian we’ve had since we moved to Telford in 2004. Only problem we could think of was the lemonade coke Always seemed to be flat

We ordered takeout from this restaurant and it was delivered by a well-dressed gentleman. Our food was hands down the best Indian cuisine we have ever had. The flavors were amazing, with unique spices that added an extra kick to each dish, leaving a lasting impression. We highly recommend this place!

We chose to order from this restaurant based on positive past experiences. Despite being informed of a 40-minute wait, I arrived to collect a substantial order. After waiting for 45 minutes, my order was finally brought out with no apology or complimentary poppadom. While the food was tasty, the service left much to be desired.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at Maharaja. The vegetables were beautifully cooked and nicely spiced. Particularly good were the vegetarian stuffed pepper and the plain nan bread. Staff were helpful and polite, the service was good and overall we had a lovely evening here.
