Great food, great friendly staff, fast service, fresh fish, nice location right off of Carmel Market. Fantastic selection of options and different types of fish with a good amount of seating and a bathroom.

Classic fish and chips with cod. Nice portion with a refreshing lemonade on the side. Sauces could be better but all in all it's delicious

If you happen to be in the Carmel Market and you need a place that is kosher or just non meat, the Fish and Chips Market might meet your needs. Otherwise, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there. The chips were not crisp; the coated fish was not particularly tasty; there was too much cilantro in the chopped salad. Even the condiments were dull. The service was correct, although not friendly. Seating is in the path through the market, where the cats beg politely.
