Cavalier Fryer - Teignbridge

I had scampi chips. Scampi was fresh and therefore hot and tasty. The chips were foul. They were either soggy and cakes in grease or weirdly solid (not crispy) and felt like they were going to break your teeth. Not worth the money, go elsewhere

Unfortunately I am unable to comment on the quality of the food and service at the cavalier fryer as even though advertised online (on multiple platforms) as being open when we arrived it was disappointingly closed. Very upsetting as I had an absolute hankering for chips.

HGV driver. Stopped of on route south for evening meal.you won't need to buy a drink, as you get a mouthful of grease with ever chip. Advise you try somewhere else

After a round the block trip to get to the place due to road works ordered some chicken balls with sweet and sour sauce which came up hot and after a short drive back and still hot. Food was too much and kept half for lunch the following day. Think the chef was Chinese whilst the other side is English

Awful..couldn't eat. The rice terrible yuk. Ought to be ashamed. Greasy...everything bright red. Duck with beansprouts awful
