Del Taco - Tehachapi

The restaurant was clean, well-decorated, and the staff was fantastic. However, I encountered an issue with the strawberry shake. It had an additional piece of plastic on top that resembled a lid without a center—essentially, the entire center of the lid was cut out, leaving only a thick plastic ring around the cup. This design created a rim over the top, making it difficult to drink directly from the cup; I had to use a small straw for the large opening. Despite this, the shake itself was delicious, although some leaves accidentally got into it while I was taking it back to the car (I ordered it to go). Overall, I really enjoy Del Taco because as a vegetarian, I appreciate that not everything on the menu contains meat, and their food is tasty, especially when you're on the go.

This “non-lid” created a rim that made it difficult to drink directly from the cup; I had to use a tiny straw for the large opening. The shake itself was enjoyable, but unfortunately, some leaves got mixed into it on my way back to the car, as I had ordered it to go. I didn’t finish it, but it was quite tasty. I really like Del Taco because, as a vegetarian, I appreciate that not everything on their menu contains meat, and the food is delicious, especially when you're on the go.

Since I moved here in 2020, I can confidently say that this Del Taco consistently provides great customer service and delicious food. I would definitely rate it an A!
