Such a gem! Lovely staff made us feel very welcome, gave some great recommendations and then knocked it our of the park with fresh naans, and some delicious curries. I normally don’t like korma but we ordered one for the table and it was incredible, so full of flavour! Will be going out of my way to come back and try some more of the menu! Thanks for a lovely meal!

Beef saagwala the rice was very well cooked., the food was hot and the service quick. The flavour of the beef saagwala was not as strong as I have had it elsewhere but it was enjoyable. The beef was tender and the sauce thick. The naan was well cooked. The service was quick once I placed my order but I did have to wait too long before a server came to the counter. I almost walked out but I wanted to try this restaurant.

Highly recommend Taj Indian Restaurant we had chicken Madras and paneer makhani and both were absolutely delicious. Medium spicy was just perfect and the garlic naan was good too. The service was exceptional.

The food was delicious and each dish is plenty for one person. Staff friendly and attentive. The best butter chicken, good curry, not pricey and worth the drive. Will be back next time I am in NZ.
