The Local Greek - Taylorsville

I was so excited to see a new Greek location near my work. I tried it today and I am NOT disappointed. The lamb meat is phenomenal. The side salad is huge and super fresh, and the hummus and pita is fantastic as well. They put fries in the gyro which I thought was an interesting choice, but it made it even better! I’ll definitely be returning.

Went for the first time. Got the Chicken Souvlaki $13 2 meats, tomato, onions, tzatziki, pita, fries or rice). Very tasty especially the lemon rice. Wait time was appropriate too. The part that impressed me the most was the facility. It was nice and tidy. But the decorations and ambiance was amazing. It was so cozy. Great color schemes. A place where you could just hang out and feel comfortable. Didn't feel like a normal restaurant, felt more like a family hangout.

Tried the new Taylorsville location and was pleased with everything we got. The fried feta is ridiculously good as a vegetarian option. Gyro meat was a little saltier than I’d prefer but overall it was a good spread, and check out the size of the “side” salad that came with it!

Hands down best gyro I’ve had in years! The ambiance is incredible with family pictures large tables and staff is very friendly. Feels like you are in their dining room and kitchen

The Local Greek did not disappoint!! We had the opportunity to go visit on the first and day I can't wait to go back. The food was delicious and the portions were great! We got the Gyro, Souvlaki Bowl, fries, and Galaktoboureko (Greek Custard Dessert) which was . So delicious!! Go support this amazing restaurant!
