Cakes By Edith Bakery - Taylorsville

I called this bakery and the person who answered told me to send a photo of the specific cake I wanted. They never replied back. I was driving passed the bakery and decided to stop by. I asked if they did the cake I wanted in the photo. The lady responded “oh no we don’t do those cakes here that’s why I never replied to the message. “ I was like what? Why didn’t you reply? Instead I wasted my time coming over there when the person could’ve done was reply back to the message. I then wanted to make my trip useful and tried to order a couple donuts. The cashier was was rude and said I couldn’t. It had to be a certain quantity. I felt so foolish to even be there.I was also pregnant so it just made me feel more down. I get it, it’s just a bakery but they should improve their customer service.

Order a Mocha cake at this bakery. And I was very surprised that the cake was not given as mocha as I ordered, but rather chocolate. The cake was super dry, it didn't have a good flavor and worst of all, it wasn't what I ordered. I am very disappointed in this bakery because the prices of their cakes are very high for the quality of cakes they make. Personally, I do not recommend this bakery where their cakes are of low quality and on top of everything they give you a cake with a flavor that you did not order.

Ordered a cake for my nieces birthday from here and the icing on the outside tasted so bad, we threw the cake away. Called them to let them know and they totally acted like they didn’t care, great customer service ha ! Wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and ordered another cake from their second location (maybe they made them better there and they do) and when I picked up the cake, the girls there, which I think are the managers were very rude!! Their prices are great but customer service is not.

If I could give 0 I would very rude and inconsistent people. I asked for the address and the only thing I heard was the lady telling me to look for a site called Google and look for the address... And then they tell me one thing and then another. I don't recommend at all.

Ordered a cake and cupcakes and they were so beautiful and tasted amazing. Greatly priced as well. We will definitely be going here for all future cakes
