Bidrage med feedbackMy sister and her family ate here. She and her husband ordered the same sub, but she got the potato salad on the side. She had violent and painful food poisoning from 2 hours later, which went late to the night. Morality of history, the potato salad was not fresh enough to be served.
The staff doesn't really seem to care if you are happy or not. If they miss something, they're not sorry. In fact, when I told them that the instructions I entered with my order were apparently overlooked the last few times I placed an online order, I was told that instead of order online, I should just call and order via the phone because these papers confuse some people. What is the point of them to offer online order?? Prices have risen, and this is good, but if prices increase, the service should be better. There are far too many other options for a $8 six inch sub. If you are short on time or do not want to deal with the carelessness of the staff, you probably want to go somewhere else for a sub.
I'm sad to write this review because I? ve eats here with my family since it was opened when I was a child and it's my favorite substation in the upstate. The man who proved to be responsible became irate because an employee had the wrong sandwich in a bag and they had to make the sandwich again. He violently began to sneak meat on the counter and on the meat slicer. At least another customer was visibly frightened and took three steps back. He did not apologize for his behaviour towards customers or employees. It was the worst and most disturbing experience I ever had in a grocery store. He should seriously take a course in rage management and needs effective manager training. I screamed him on previous occasions and advised the staff, but today was the worst. I wanted to eat some of my sandwich there, but I wanted to go because I was so upset by the whole incident. I don't want to visit this place again.
I love these Mom Pop feel Sub-Shops! Everyone is beautiful, running smoothly, many options, lots of seats. Subs were delicious, great bread super tastefully cheeah ingredients. Everything is the best way to have a sub!
It is always a good day when I can get a #4 at my favorite sandwich place, a place I have been going to over the years since the 1980s. I live out-of-state and don't get eat here often. So, in November 2021, I was disappointed when they were closed because of staffing. In July 2022, I returned and was relieved to find them open. While prices of the sandwiches are getting higher and higher, the quality of the sandwiches and the total dining experience had gotten lower and lower at my last visit. Key ingredients such as red vinegar were missing, bread was toasted far too in advance making that delicious bread nothing more than a big pile of crumbs. Also, can't we have the option of not having the bread toasted? Weak offerings of that delicious home-made pasta and macaroni salads. The worst of all was the sweet tea that was so sweet it was as if I was drinking a bottle of syrup. Isn't there usually unsweetened tea available as well? Not on this occasion. Staff seems unsure what to do unless the grown up behind the counter is constantly telling them what to do. High schoolers too young to drive are filling the positions once held by self-sufficient and mature workers. Usually, my dining experience at Sub Station II in Taylors is a 5 out of 5. November 2021 got a zero since the place couldn't be properly staffed. July gets a 3 which is a shame considering how I live for the #4. I hope that in the future the doors can remain open and the Taylors store can return to it's proper form. If you're going to charge top dollar, shouldn't the customer get what they are paying for?
