Well welcome, helpful and attentive staff. afternoon tea was good, good scones, much saw, small jam, which was nice, but not enough, finger sandwiches were delicious and fresh. overall pleasant experience in quiet environment with good toilets.

Only stopped for lunch on Goose Fair Day and it was great. Nicely presented food service 1st class well worth the price paid .Will eat there again Food drinks: Good quality well cooked and presented meals Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great value

I asked if they were serving coffee. One of the staff seated us and then never bothered to come back in next 7-8 mins even to give us the menu. I would at least want to think that it is just their poor service and nothing to do with colour. Service: 1
