Bidrage med feedbackI eat at Purple Cat almost every time I visit the Taupo markets, and I absolutely love it! The hot pot is fantastic, the cheesecakes are delicious, and the caramel disc is a treat too. I also really enjoy the pineapple flowers and the fresh juice. I appreciate having a little extra emphasis on whole foods rather than just typical fried options. Keep up the great work and high standards!
The atmosphere was great, and I appreciated that the restaurant is entirely vegan and utilizes the beaker concept. However, I found the prices to be quite high, and the hot chocolate was both bitter and served in a small portion, making it not very enjoyable. If I didn't follow a raw whole food plant-based diet, I wouldn't consider coming back.
The rainbow pizza was good, but quite expensive at 7 for a small disc. The hot drinks, including the hot chocolate and cocosnies, were very bland, which I found disappointing given the price. Perhaps that’s just how they’re meant to taste, but I’ve had vegan hot chocolate before that had a real chocolate flavor, and it was much better. The bowls looked appealing, but we didn’t try them.

While fresh ingredients may be pricier, I'm willing to pay a little extra for wholesome, quality food instead of cheap, greasy options. Keep up the great work and high standards!
