Bidrage med feedbackI ordered from this restaurant on Grubhub. I requested chicken stew with white rice and beans, along with a ginger ale. However, I received a completely incorrect order. Instead of chicken stew, I got bone-in chicken with orange rice, a salad, and a sprite. When I called to report the mistake, the woman on the phone blamed her husband because she was with her kids. She did not offer a refund or to replace the incorrect meal. I was very disappointed with the unprofessional behavior and will not be ordering from here again. At least now I know to avoid this place in the future.
I tried ordering from this restaurant for the first time today through GrubHub. I had called five times before to confirm their opening hours. The website and GrubHub indicated that they opened at 9am, so I placed my order. After placing my order, I called again and was told that I needed to cancel my order on my end because they didn't actually have food available until 11:30am. I now have to wait 5-7 business days for a refund on my credit card. I was disappointed that they blamed the app for the mistake. They should update their hours on the app and website, or at least answer the phone to inform customers. The person I spoke with on the phone was unaccommodating and insincere, simply telling me to cancel the order on my end. This was very unprofessional. I will not be ordering from this place again.
I am sorry to say that the staff at this restaurant were very friendly, but unfortunately the food was terrible. As someone who is Puerto Rican and Dominican, I know good food when I taste it and I am skilled in the kitchen myself. The dish I was served tasted like it was made by someone who is just starting out cooking at home. On top of that, I was overcharged for the meal. My husband and children were unable to eat it, so I ended up throwing it away without even bothering to ask for a refund.
I stopped by on my way home, grabbed some yellow rice, wings and ribs. All were very good! Best part of my experience is me leaving my wallet there by accident and the owner probably spent in gas what I spent for the food to personally deliver my wallet to my home! Now that is customer service!!! THAT WILL HAVE ME EATING THERE OFTEN! I CANT THANK HIM ENOUGH! I guess I was excited to enjoy my dinner and spaced out my wallet????
Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with the store. The owner try to rip me off on a very expensive order. When I called to clarify the situation he hung up on me. When I got to the store he was not wearing gloves nor was he wearing a mask. And the store has a very strong odor.
