Riverview - TARWIN LOWER

Midweek pub meal at this busy little local. Food was hot, fresh and prompt. Highly recommend the chicken burger. Wait staff were friendly, efficient and coped well during a busy service. Thanks for a great treat meal.

Strangely enough a hotel in Australia is typically foremost a pub and not necessarily a place to stay. Hence it makes no sense to sign stars to the rooms . The food is very good, particularly given the remote location. The only downside is that there usually is only one vegetarian mains, which sometimes is excellent and sometimes not my first choice (the menu is changing reasonably frequently), but then there is also a veggie burger, to make up for those occasions. Good destination in this otherwise culinarily challenged region.
