Coffee at Joe's - TARCUTTA

I recently enjoyed the best hamburger I have ever had at this restaurant, and my husband's toastie was also delicious. Joe, the owner, is a hard-working and friendly man. This place is definitely worth a visit on your way up north.

While driving from Melbourne to Sydney, we came across a dry patch with unremarkable rest stops lacking trees. Thankfully, we found a park in Tarcutta just off the Hume Highway. To our surprise, we discovered Joe's Cafe, which serves coffee just as good as anything you'd find in Melbourne. I highly recommend stopping at Joe's to refuel halfway through your journey. Tarcutta also has a service station and a park for your convenience.

I had an amazing egg and bacon roll at Joe's, and the coffee was also excellent. The toasted sandwiches for the kids were a hit, and the fact that the park was nearby allowed them to run around and play. Overall, I was very pleased with the quick stop at Joe's.

We have stopped for coffee and food several times over the past few years, this is the first time Joe's has been open. Hopefully there are now enough travellers on road trips to allow this business to keep to regular opening hours. Coffee was very good, an OK range of baked goods and breakfast menu. Friendly service, nice atmosphere. Plenty of off street parking.

We turned off the Hume in search of coffee and light breakast and were not disappointed. We each had a double shot small cappuccino and they were excellent. High quality barista coffee and lovely egg and bacon roll. Good choice for a short stop.
