Donabe Asian Kitchen - Taos

Didn’t hate it, didn’t love it. Fancy placed so it was kinda expensive BUT they did have very fresh food. We could tell that everything was very good quality. The pho didn’t taste at all like pho (or what I’m used to as eating pho from a lot of different places throughout the years). Wasn’t a huge fan of it. Would try something different next time. This was just my opinion though, I’m sure others would love it. Vegan options available so that’s a plus.

We were looking for something with some variety in Taos and came across this place. We rang in advance to make sure they had dishes that were vegan or could be easily veganized and they had numerous menu items available! We shared the green and red curry with tofu, the spring rolls and delicious sweet chili sambal fries. I wish we’d found this place the night before... we definitely would have gone 2 nights in a row. Their lunch menu also has some great vegan options too!

Can't talk more about this facility and its owner. We had a large group of 9 in town for a bachelor party and the experience was great. I am not well trained when it comes to Saki, but the servers were very polite to guide us through the different types. The food was nicely prepared and the ingredients were fresh and tasteful. And to round it off, the owner gave us all free recordings of Tequila at the end for our special occasion. If you're ever in Taos, you'll have to pass. Five stars.

As with everywhere else in Taos, they are only short-occupied, but they did well. They had a good choice, but everything was very hard on the sauce. We had some roasted Brussels sprouts that had a good sauce, but they also smashed it in oil, which made it very difficult and difficult to eat clean. They make your own bowl is what we all did and we all ended up with different vegetables in our bowl, so we all missed something. Mine was the only one that came with a kuiper calf that was so overwhelming. Usually you only use a little touch, but I had a whole sheet and I could taste nothing else. Those who do not have the lime sheet in their have tasty.

We ate very well. Service was good and the food really delicious. The vegetarian spring rolls are delicious. There are many vegan and vegetarian options. The ambience is really cozy.
