Bidrage med feedbackWe had lunch here last week. the restaurant was very busy, reflecting how successful this facility is. the restaurant was nice and warm with the wood burner. the excellent menu including the lunch and Christmas dinner card was varied and very competitive. the food was delicious and all freshly cooked. the staff was very efficient and friendly. I can highly recommend this restaurant.
My man and invite to lunch here to celebrate my cousin's great birthday. we had stopped here a few years before for a morning coffee. pub beautiful with Christmas decoration and warming wood burners in minus 3 degrees so very welcoming furnishings. personal very. welcome and helpful. 3 of us went to their festive menu and my man for a double-burger. they were very busy, but we didn't notice that waiting was so busy that we could catch up with all our things.
Had the most amazing Christmas dinner in the cherry tree, 18 of us all well fed water. great food, so delicious. the personal was incredibly helpful. thanks to joao, ellie, leah, reece that they have looked after us so well. Thank you. to the wonderful kitchen staff, the food was great.
Yesterday fought for lunch to get to the ice! only 2 employees wait. fire wasn't up so it was cold. Eating was nice, but the whole experience wasn't as it was normally. the personal was amazing, but can not perform a miracle.
Visited this pub for a meal on a quiet 16th Nov evening before travelling out from Gatwick on holiday the next morning. I have also reviewed the Holiday Inn Worth where we stayed. This pub has a great old inn charmin character, the waitress was...really friendly and the food was on the higher side of reasonable but well worth it, as the quality was excellent. My wife is a veggie and had the bean chilli which she thought was a bit different than usual bean chillies but in a good way and really enjoyed it. I had the Up burger which was really tasty served with triple well cooked chunky chips. The burger included cheese and a little extra meat in the way of braised steak from the pubs 45 day aged beef. (I think it was 45? . Both meals were standard menu items but prepared and presented in a much more gastro pub way. My veggie wife was not so keen on the glass fronted display of hanging sides of beef which even as a carnivore, I thought was a bit unnecessary. Also had a great pint of real ale. Would love this pub to be closer to home as a local we could visit more often but we will visit again if we stay near Gatwick when we travel.
