Sinnsyk god mat! Treigt opplegg for å få bestilt men verd å vente på!!

I had to stay at the motel for a week (don't ask). The restaurant provides a very good varied breakfast (also available to non residents). Lunch Dinner menu were one and the same. Food was an acceptable quality and portions adequate. No cause for complaint on any factor. Style is cafeteria with an outside veranda. Very nice on good days.

There aren't many places to eat here in Tana, but this is an OK place for a dinner or lunch. There weren't many customers, but still the food took 40 minutes to get. Which is a little to long in my opinion. Although the bernaise is some of the worst ones I've ever tasted, the others in my party was happy with the food. The one with the reindeer salad said it was very nice. And my colleague said she got free coffie there entire time she stayed there to work (from her computer). Even tho' she did not stay at the motel that runs the restaurant.

The setup is simple, cafeteria style where one orders at the bar. But the food is good, and the staff is friendly and service minded. There are local elements in the food served, there was for instance a pizza with smoked reindeer and a sauce based on sour cream and mountain cranberry (Vaccinium vitis-idaea). Coffee was served free with the meal.

Super service! the food was also exceptional. we had 2 of their Reindeer dishes (photos attached) and they were great! it's not very often that I have service, that's so great. the man helped us to ask with a few how we only visit and he was super helpful. If I ever come back to tana, it will be because of him and this restaurant.
