Bidrage med feedbackReally nice spot downtown by the University probably the cheapest place with the best quality. The service is sparse at times, but the kitchen is really fast, which is all that matters if they make great food. Good prices, decent portions.. a definite stop when you are not looking to drop $30 a head, but still have good food.
Absolutely love this place, great authentic Mexican food and I know raised in San Antonio so I know good Mexican food. I can come here three times a week and be satisfied. Only suggestion is need some breakfast tacos plz.
This place was okay. Im conflicted on if i should give 3 or 4 stars. The atmosphere is great, the drinks were strong, the staff was helpful. But the food was bland. I would never expect to get bland food from a Mexican restaurant they seemed to use hardly any seasoning or spice. We tried the flautas, street corn, tacos (shrimp, pastor, and fish) and they were all bland. The only good thing was the quesadilla, Not sure if i went on a bad day but i sadly wouldn?t return.
We were a group of 6 people and we were looking for a Mexican restaurant for Saturday night dinner. We searched near us and by seeing the reviews we decided to have dinner at Urban Cantina. It is a small restaurant in Tampa downtown with a nice decor. When we went to the restaurant it was full being a Saturday night and we had to wait for 10-15 minutes before we were seated. Once seated we were greeted by our server Meztly with the menus. By exploring the drinks menu first we
Went here on a Saturday afternoon and had a short wait, but the wait can get long during peak hours. We got the house margarita which was a bit disappointing as it tasted like it was made with store-bought margarita mix, and was too cloying for my taste. I got El Rey burrito which was just okay. The staff was friendly and ambiance was nice. The food taste and quality was acceptable but could be better.
