SAMURAI BLUE SUSHI AND SAKE BAR - Tampa

My husband and I celebrated our 12th anniversary by revisiting our old favorite, Samurai Blue. We were quickly seated, though unfortunately by the door which made our meal a bit chilly. The food was as delicious as we remembered, but we were disappointed by the lackluster service. Our server was friendly but not very attentive - we had to ask the host for a pencil to complete our sushi order, our drinks went unfilled, and we were not checked on throughout the meal. It seems like it was just an off night for the restaurant. Despite this, we will definitely be returning and hope for better service next time.

Very fresh fish is served in a friendly atmosphere. The sushi chefs and our server were friendly and efficient.

The sashimi was excellent and we loved the unique architecture of the restaurant.

The food was fantastic and the service was great! We will definitely be returning!
