Columbia Cafe Riverwalk Tampa

We decided to dine in on the covered patio none Saturday afternoon after a family get together. A couple of ships were in port and luckily we gif not have to wait long at all for a table. Lauren was our waitress and we had a party of 16. She started with our drink order and cleverly organized people’s request into separate checks. From that moment on I knew everything would be fantastic. While delivering drinks she also brought plenty of bread to hold over everyone until the main course was served. Which was great for the smaller children. Considering the size of our party we expected the food to take a little longer however, it seemed to have come out much quicker than anticipated. When the food arrived, it arrived consecutively. I was impressed with how Lauren passed everyone’s food out to perfection. Everything came out perfect. After our meal, dessert and cafe con leche were accepted and were no disappointment either. Thank you to Lauren and the staff that assisted. 10/10 for everything! Highly recommend.

Our server Anitra was first-rate. We got there just in time for a Lightning game, and the place was rocking. With poise and impeccable service, she attended to each table with a smile. She never ceased to amaze me as she served while simultaneously preparing sangria and salads at the table for most of her guests. They expect a lot from their servers, and Anitra delivered. This made the food taste all the better. 1905 salad...can't go wrong! It is a great place for a nice light meal. Can't wait to go back again.

When you are doing the Riverwalk in downtown Tampa, don’t miss eating at this lively waterfront spot. The Columbia restaurant brand is famous for Cuban food and this location is close, and easier to get tables. They have all the classics so you must get the Cuban sandwich and the 1905 salad made table side. We tried three other entrees and all were very good. And go for the House sangria pitcher that the waiter mixes for you. A fun place to eat in a cool part of town. It should be part of your Tampa experience.

Food was great as usual but service was bad and slow
